Biped: Pandora + Last.fm

› Use online

› Download (requires Greasemonkey)

Biped works inside of your Pandora session, sending the songs you hear to Last.fm.

Using Biped

When you open Pandora, either from the "Use online" link here or after installing the Greasemonkey extension, Biped will prompt for your Last.fm username and password. (Don't worry, your password is encrypted before it even leaves the login form - Biped never saves your password.)

After logging in successfully, go ahead and use Pandora as you normally would. Each song you hear will be sent to your Last.fm listening history via Biped, and you'll receive notifications as this happens. Pause Last.fm integration or logout from the Biped menu.

Notes

This is still very much an alpha. That said, the core functionality is (largely) in place and you are free to break whatever you wish without too many horrible things happening. Additionally: don't expect this to work in anything but Firefox (whose security model is interestingly the only one that will allow this sort of thing).

Feedback

Biped is possibly 30% complete, and development is sporadic. Still, if you see something borked that should be working, have a suggestion for future development or have had some remarkable improvement in your life as a direct result of using Biped, do leave a note to that effect. Bonus points for iambic pentameter.

(Spam sucks; you won't get any from here. In fact, you may not get any response at all. But probably something, if only a token acknowledgement.)
